Campaign Story

My name is Daisha & my husband’s name is Alex. We have been married for 2 1/2 years. We recently relocated to Florida. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 years old, back then I didn’t really think about the affects of PCOS and how much they would affect our journey of having a family until after we got married. We started seeing a fertility specialist in 2020. After undergoing 3 fertility treatments we finally got our 2 pink lines in April of 2021. We were so excited tovbe welcoming a baby in December. Unfortunately our pregnancy ended in a miscarriage in May of 2021. I was diagnosed with a septate uterus, which was basically a section of skin that grew separating my uterus in half. My doctor says that’s what resulted in the miscarriage. So in August I underwent surgery to correct that issue and was given the go ahead to start fertility meds again in October. Unfortunately those plans had to be put on hold since we had decided to relocate to Florida. So after getting settled in and ready we have now decided to start treatments again with the hopes of having a baby in 2023. As many may know fertility treatments and medication are expensive. So with the hopes of friends, family, and complete strangers cheering us on we hope these dreams can be fulfilled. Thank you for any help & for reading our story.
